Since my earliest childhood, the mountains have been my playground. At Val d’Isère, from the age of three, I carved my first turns in the snow, inspired by my cousin François Bonlieu, Olympic champion and iconic figure of French skiing. This heritage and my unwavering passion for skiing naturally led me to make it my profession.
Today, as a state-certified instructor in skiing, snowboarding, and telemark, I guide skiers and snowboarders of all levels in their progression, with a technical and educational approach tailored to each individual. With 37 years of experience in Val d’Isère, including 17 years dedicated to teaching, I offer personalized lessons, from mastering the fundamentals to exploring the most challenging terrains.
Whether you want to learn in a relaxed setting, refine your technique, or push your limits off-piste, my expertise and deep knowledge of the ski area will ensure effective progress and maximum enjoyment.
François left his mark on skiing history by winning the prestigious Kandahar (Diamond K) competition in Chamonix in 1963, before becoming an Olympic champion in Innsbruck and world champion in 1964. His exceptional record also includes seven victories at the Critérium de la Première Neige in Val d’Isère, securing his place among the greatest skiers of his time.
